Before Coming to Japan

１．Announcement of Successful Applicants（4 months prior to Entering the University）

Academic Affairs Office of each Graduate School will notify the applicants of results of admission examinations.

２．After the Announcement

  • Admission Procedures
    Academic Affairs Office of each Graduate School will contact successful candidates regarding admission procedures.
  • Procedures regarding coming to Japan（VISA、Air Ticket）
    International Affairs Office will contact successful candidates regarding procedures for coming to Japan.

  • Support for VISA Application process
    International Affairs Office will apply to obtain a “Certificate of Eligibility” which is needed to apply for a Japanese visa to the Immigration Bureau, and send it to successful candidates.　Required documents should be submitted for the procedure in advance.
  • Air Ticket to Japan
    International Affairs Office will arrange an air ticket to Japan.
  • Others
    For those who applied for apartments arranged by TMU, a contractor with TMU will contact you regarding the apartments. As for other successful candidates, they should find their apartments and finish up all the necessary procedures related to it by their own.
