Tokyo Metropolitan University provides student accommodations in order to ensure that students have a positive environment conducive to learning. The university also provides off-campus accommodations for international students. Units of both types of housing are limited, so please keep track of availability and apply for accommodations in a timely fashion.

3.Other housing
(1)Accommodations without the university's mediation
The application periods of these accommodations vary. Information on room availability will be posted on the bulletin board of the International Center. Some international student houses offer rooms to students whenever they become available. Please contact these facilities directly to inquire.
(2)Private apartments
Information on private apartments in the vicinity of TMU is available from the Co-op. Real estate agents, housing information magazines, the Internet and the student cooperative are also helpful for finding a room.
