Asian Human Resources Fund

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government set up the Asian Human Resources Fund in order to carry out its policies leading to the development of excellent human resources who will be able to contribute to the development of Asia for the 10 years starting from 2008. Using this fund, Tokyo Metropolitan University accepted so far 145 highly talented students at its Doctoral Programs from 14 countries and region; China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Singapore, Nepal, Mongolia and Laos, of which 78 students worked on the highly advanced researches (referred to as “Advanced Researches”) which lead to solutions for urban problems and development of Asia.

  • Molecular Catalysis as basis in Green Sustainable Chemistry for Environmental Benign Urban Life(2012 - 2016)
  • Artificial photosynthesis by sunlight to realize energy-sustainable society(2011 - 2015)
